Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. About Arik Baltinester
Since the age of 10 when I first laid my hands of my first camera I have been hooked on Photography. At the year 1978 I began to work as a freelance for the major daily newspapers in Israel (mainly Maariv, but also Yediot, Ha’Aretz, Davar, Al-Hamishmar,Al Etichad and Jerusalem Post). In 1985 I started to specialize in aerial photography and in industrial / promotional applications. I ran a top-of-the-line professional photography services lab in Haifa and pioneered the use of CIBA-Chrome service for northern Israel.
